1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and QMM LTD ("Face Rating Lab", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13466278), with its registered office at 91 Dukes Avenue, London, England, N10 2QD. They apply when you use the Face Rating Lab website and buy a report.

By uploading photos or buying a package, you agree to these terms. Please read them with our privacy policy, biometric data notice and refund policy.

2. Who can use Face Rating Lab

To use Face Rating Lab you must:

• be 18 or over;
• not live in, or be located in, the US state of Illinois, where we do not offer the service;
• upload only photos of yourself.

3. What Face Rating Lab is, and isn't

Face Rating Lab measures proportions in a front photo and a side-profile photo. It finds face points, takes 65+ measurements, compares them with ideal ranges from facial-proportion research and turns them into scores, with explanations and tips.

• It is for information and personal interest. It is not a medical, psychological, dental or cosmetic assessment, and nothing in it is advice to have any treatment or procedure.
• It describes two photos. Results depend on the photos: lens distance, light, expression and head position all affect them. Points we can't see are estimated and marked "est".
• Ideal ranges are a reference, not a rule. A score is not a judgment of your worth, and it doesn't capture expression, personality or how you come across in person.

We take care to make the analysis as accurate as we can, and we show every line on your photo so you can check it, but we can't promise that every point or measurement is exact.

4. Your photos

When you upload photos, you confirm that they are of you and that you have the right to use them. Never upload photos of another person or of anyone under 18.

You keep all rights in your photos. You give us permission to store and process them only to produce your preview and report and to show them to you. We keep them with your report until you delete it, which you can do with one click at any time, or until you haven't used Face Rating Lab for 24 months, as described in our biometric data notice.

5. Free preview, packages and payment

• Free preview first. After your photos are analyzed you see a free preview before paying anything. You never pay for an analysis that fails.
• One-time packages. Each package is a single payment. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal. The price you see at checkout, in the currency shown, is the price you pay.
• Scans. Every package unlocks the full report for the scan you're viewing. Larger packages add extra scans ("credits"), each of which unlocks one more full report.
• Credits never expire while we offer the service. They are linked to the email address used at checkout, can't be transferred and have no cash value. If we ever close Face Rating Lab, we'll give at least 30 days' notice and refund unused credits.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see your full card details.

6. Delivery and your right to cancel

Your report is digital content, delivered as soon as your payment goes through. At checkout we ask you to confirm that you want it straight away and that you understand this means the usual 14-day right to cancel ends once delivery starts. This follows the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the equivalent EU rules.

Instead, we offer a 7-day satisfaction refund: if you're not happy for any reason, email us within 7 days of buying for a full refund. The details are in our refund policy. Your legal rights if a report is faulty or not as described are not affected.

7. Using Face Rating Lab fairly

Please don't:

• upload photos of anyone else, of anyone under 18, or anything unlawful or explicit;
• use Face Rating Lab or its results to rank, shame or harass other people;
• copy, scrape, resell or build a competing service from our reports or software;
• try to get around payment, overload the site or access it with bots or automated tools;
• reverse engineer the service, except where the law allows it.

If you break these rules, we may suspend your access. If we do, we'll refund any unused credits unless the breach was serious.

8. Access to your reports

Your report opens from the browser you used, from your account, or from the private link we give you. Anyone with that private link can open the report, so please keep it to yourself. You can delete a report, or all of your data, at any time.

9. Our content

The website, software, design, illustrations, text and report format belong to us or our licensors. You're welcome to keep, print and share your own report for personal use.

10. Changes to the service

We keep improving Face Rating Lab, so features, measurements and the look of reports may change. We may pause the service briefly for maintenance. We won't make changes that take away what you've already paid for.

11. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit. If you are a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to digital content that is faulty or not as described, and these terms don't affect them.

Otherwise, we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care, up to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable, for business losses, or for decisions you make based on a report.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes can be brought in its courts. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws where you live and can bring a claim in your local courts. Please contact us first: most problems are quickly fixed by email.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to a purchase is the one shown when you made it. If we make significant changes and have your email address, we'll tell you in advance.
